Education and Business Development Manager

At the heart of our mission is the yuv® Lab, an innovative system that empowers hairdressers to craft tailor-made colour formulations for each client effortlessly and efficiently, eliminating wastage in the process. Our system, equipped with advanced features such as fully customisable hair colour, pH control, translucency & opacity levels, and precise colour blending capabilities can create bespoke formulations that are tailored to each individual clients hair type and desired look.

We prioritise transparency and accountability across every stage of our products lifecycle – from sourcing ingredients to packaging, delivery, and disposal. Unlike traditional colour tubes and packaging that often end their life cycle in landfill, our approach minimises environmental impact. With yuv® Beauty, we are not just transforming hair – we are shaping a more responsible and inclusive future for the beauty industry.

Responsibilities:

● Conduct salon visits to introduce and promote our hair colour brand, emphasising its unique features, benefits, and value proposition.

●Conduct product demonstrations.
● Deliver engaging and interactive education and training sessions to salon staff, covering product knowledge, colour theory, and application techniques.
● Collaborate with salon owners and managers to identify their specific needs and develop tailored strategies for integrating our products and services into their business model effectively.
● Provide ongoing support and assistance to salons, including guidance through all aspects of the yuv® system, troubleshooting technical issues and addressing product inquiries.
● Regular in-person salon visits
● Offer guidance and advice on optimising salon profitability through strategic product selection, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives.
● Stay mindful of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform product development and sales strategies.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the salon industry, including salon owners, managers and stylists.
● Engage in initiatives that grow the brand and elevate the profile of yuv® education, including crafting new courses and collaborating with freelancers.
● To embrace your role with an entrepreneurial mindset and continually look for opportunities to surpass expectations.

● Gather feedback from salon partners to assess product performance, identify areasfor improvement, and relay insights to internal teams.
● Attend and support industry trade shows.
● Coordinate product deliveries when required.

Requirements:

● Proven experience in the professional beauty industry, with a focus on hair colour products and services.
● NVQ Level 2 & 3.
● Strong background in education and training, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with salon professionals.
● Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve targets, preferably in a consultative selling environment.
● Experience in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Packages.
● Passion for the Hair and beauty industry and a keen interest in staying updated on emerging trends and technologies.
● Strong communication skills at all levels.
● Excellent attention to detail.
● Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
● Valid UK driver’s licence.
● Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation: Salary: Base TBD + Commission + Company Car
